‘Pawar is the most inclusive national leader’ Bhujbal and Kushwaha praise Pawar’s leadership and contribution

Pune, December 13, 2018: Sharad Pawar is the most inclusive and senior leader in the country today expressed Chagan Bhujbal, former deputy chief minister and Upendra Kushwaha, president, Rastriya Lok Samata Party in Pune.
They were speaking at ‘Lene Pratibheche’, a cultural programme organised by Ashok Rathi and Manali Bhilare, on the occasion of the 78th birthday of Sharad Pawar, President, Nationalist Congress Party and the celebration of the centenary year of P. L. Deshpande, G. D. Mandgulkar and Sudhir Phadke.
Bhujbal felicitated veteran vilonist Prabhakar Jog and senior actor Shrikant Moghe. Congress MLA Mohan Joshi, Chetan Tupe, city president, NCP,
Former city mayors Ankush Kakade and Mohansingh Rajpal, Former MLA Kamal Dhole Patil and Ravindra Malvadkar, Congress leader Arvind Shinde were also present on the dais.
Bhujbal while speaking about Pawar said, “He has incredible will power and stamina to keep working. He is one of those leaders who enjoys respect across parties.” He further added that along with Pawar’s contribution to agricultural development, he has worked for several cultural and social developments of India.
While speaking about Deshpande, Mandgular and Phadke, Bhujabal said, “Anyone who loves music and literature holds these three great personalities close to heart. These three are the true gems of Maharashtra.”
Kushwaha while congratulating Pawar, said, “Pawar is the most senior politician in India today. He has helped me in my times of struggle in politics. His service to this nation is invaluable.”
Prabhakar Jog, shared his memories of working with Sudhir Phadke. He said, “Phadke was my guru. He recognized my talent when I was a college student and gave me an opportunity of a lifetime. He encouraged a music composer in me. I salute his memory today.”

Shrikant Moghe, shared his memories of working with P. L. Deshpande. He said that Deshapande gave him a first chance in the play ‘Varyavarchi Varat’ and it took off his career as an actor.

He said, “Deshpande has given me many things, one of them is love for languages.” He further added that Sharad Pawar has given a lot of support to artists like him.
Rathi delivered an introductory speech. Bhilare presented the vote of thanks.
