PCMC: 110 new Corona patients detected today, 78 people discharged
Pimpri, June 24, 2020: Till 7.45 pm today, a total of 110 new Coronavirus positive patients were found in different parts, stated a report from Pimpri-Chinchwad Municipal Corporation (PCMC). Also, 78 people were discharged from hospitals after being cured, while two persons died.
According to PCMC, the total number of Coronavirus positive patients has reached 2148 out of which 1279 have been cured while 37 have died. 832 active patients are still undergoing treatment. There are 71 non-PCMC residents currently admitted in YCM hospital in Pimpri. Till now 26 non-PCMC residents have died while 133 have been cured. Out of total active cases, there are 695 Asymptomatic Positive patients, 99 are Symptomatic Positive Patients and 37 Critical Patients.
Across Maharashtra, there were 3890 new COVID19 cases today taking the total number of cases to 1,42,900. Also, 208 people died while 4161 got discharge from hospitals after being cured. There are still 62,354 active cases. Till now 73,792 COVID-19 patients have been cured. The recovery rate in the state is 51.64%.
According to the Union Health Ministry, the number of Coronavirus positive patients has reached 456182 across the country. Out of this, 258684 have been cured and discharged from hospitals while 14476 people have died and one patient has migrated out of the country. There are still 183022 active patients undergoing treatment in hospitals across the country.
