PCMC: 1105 New COVID Cases, 371 Discharged Today
Pimpri, 20 August 2020: The Pimpri-Chinchwad Municipal Corporation (PCMC) said that 1105 new Coronavirus Disease (COVID19) patients were reported in PCMC areas today. Also, 371 people got discharged from hospitals while 17 people died today.
According to PCMC, the total number of Coronavirus positive patients has reached 38,821 out of which 25,770 have recovered while 736 have died. 6631 active patients are still undergoing treatment. There are 528 non-PCMC residents currently admitted in PCMC hospitals, while 145 have died and 1513 have been cured.
Across Maharashtra, 12,243 people got discharged from hospitals while 14,492 new cases and 326 deaths were reported today. The total number of COVID cases has reached 6,43,289 out of which 4,59,124 people have recovered and 21359 have died. There are 1,62,491 active cases.
According to the Union Health Ministry, the number of Coronavirus positive patients has reached 28,36,925 across the country. Out of this, 20,96,664 have been cured and discharged from hospitals while 53,866 people have died and one patient has migrated out of the country. There are still 6,86,395 active patients undergoing treatment in hospitals across the country.
