PCMC: 1105 new COVID cases, 727 discharged today
Pimpri, 27 August 2020: The Pimpri-Chinchwad Municipal Corporation (PCMC) said that 1105 new Coronavirus Disease (COVID19) patients were reported in PCMC areas today. Also, 727 people got discharged from hospitals while 10 people died today.
According to PCMC, the total number of Coronavirus positive patients has reached 45,510 out of which 31,863 have recovered while 850 have died. 5087 active patients are still undergoing treatment. There are 728 non-PCMC residents currently admitted in PCMC hospitals, while 173 have died and 1768 have been cured.
Across Maharashtra, 9136 people got discharged from hospitals while 14,718 new cases and 355 deaths were reported today. The total number of COVID cases has reached 7,33,568 out of which 5,31,563 people have recovered and 23,444 have died. There are 1,78,234 active cases.
According to the Union Health Ministry, the number of Coronavirus positive patients has reached 3,310,234 across the country. Out of this, 2,523,771 have been cured and discharged from hospitals while 60,472 people have died and one patient has migrated out of the country. There are still 725,991 active patients undergoing treatment in hospitals across the country.
