PCMC: 152 fresh COVID cases today, 98 discharged in Pimpri Chinchwad
Pimpri, July 1, 2020: Till 8.30 pm today, a total of 152 new Coronavirus positive patients were found in different parts, stated a report from Pimpri-Chinchwad Municipal Corporation (PCMC). Also, 98 people were discharged from hospitals after being cured.
According to PCMC, the total number of Coronavirus positive patients has reached 3284 out of which 2002 have been cured while 47 have died. 1235 active patients are still undergoing treatment. There are 79 non-PCMC residents currently admitted in PCMC. Till now 31 non-PCMC residents have died while 196 have been cured.
Across Maharashtra, there were 5537 new COVID19 cases yesterday taking the total number of cases to 180298. Also, 198 people died while 2243 got discharge from hospitals after being cured. There are still 79075 active cases. Till now 93154 COVID-19 patients have been cured while 8053 people have died.
According to the Union Health Ministry, the number of Coronavirus positive patients has reached 585,493 across the country. Out of this, 347,978 have been cured and discharged from hospitals while 17,400 people have died and one patient has migrated out of the country. There are still 220,114 active patients undergoing treatment in hospitals across the country.
