PCMC: 218 fresh COVID patients detected, 98 discharged
Pimpri, July 1, 2020: Till 10 pm yesterday, a total of 218 new Coronavirus positive patients were found in different parts, stated a report from Pimpri-Chinchwad Municipal Corporation (PCMC). Also, 98 people were discharged from hospitals after being cured, while one persons died.
According to PCMC, the total number of Coronavirus positive patients has reached 3126 out of which 1905 have been cured while 47 have died. 1174 active patients are still undergoing treatment. There are 75 non-PCMC residents currently admitted in PCMC. Till now 30 non-PCMC residents have died while 175 have been cured.
According to Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC), the total number of Coronavirus positive patients till date has reached 17228 out of which 10,451 have been cured while 643 have died. There are still 6134 active patients undergoing treatment in various hospitals. They include 350 critical patients out of which 59 are on ventilator support. Till now 115,990 people have been tested in Pune city.
Across Maharashtra, there were 4878 new COVID19 cases yesterday taking the total number of cases to 174,761. Also, 245 people died while 1951 got discharge from hospitals after being cured. There are still 75,979 active cases. Till now 90,911 COVID-19 patients have been cured. The recovery rate in the state is 52.02 %.
According to the Union Health Ministry, the number of Coronavirus positive patients has reached 585,493 across the country. Out of this, 347,978 have been cured and discharged from hospitals while 17,400 people have died and one patient has migrated out of the country. There are still 220,114 active patients undergoing treatment in hospitals across the country.
