PCMC: 31 fresh Corona patients detected, 35 discharged on Tuesday

Pimpri Chinchwad, June 3, 2020: A total of 31 people were found COVID19 positive till 9.20 pm on Tuesday. As a result, the total number of Coronavirus positive patients admitted in Pimpri Chinchwad Municipal Corporation (PCMC) jurisdiction has reached 568. Out of total patients, 313 have been cured while 245 are still undergoing treatment. Till date, 10 people have died in the city.

Today 35 persons got discharged from hospitals while two patients died including a 55-year-old woman from Dapodi and a 40-year-old woman from Walhekarwadi Chinchwad. The new COVID19 patients found positive today are from Akurdi (2), Bhosari (6), Chinchwad (7), Dapodi (4), Kalewadi (1), Pimple Saudagar (1), Pimpri (3), Sangvi (4), Wakad (2) and Kiwle (1).

Till date most patients have been found in Anandnagar (207) near Chinchwad station, Pimpri (51), Rupinagar (42) in Nigdi, Bhosari Gaothan area (47), Wakad (24), Old Sangvi (21). Therefore, all these places have become hotspots. However, for the last eight days, the patients here have recovered and started returning home. The administration has instructed all those who have recovered to stay at home for 14 days, i.e. home quarantine.
