PCMC: 440 New COVID Patients Reported, 529 Discharged Today

Pimpri, 10 October 2020: The Pimpri-Chinchwad Municipal Corporation (PCMC) said that 440 new Coronavirus Disease (COVID19) patients were reported in PCMC areas today. Also, 529 people got discharged from hospitals while five people died today.

According to PCMC, the total number of Coronavirus positive patients has reached 83,433 out of which 77,766 have recovered while 1417 have died. 2703 active patients are still undergoing treatment. There are 462 non-PCMC residents currently admitted in PCMC hospitals, while 546 have died and 5497 have been cured.

According to the Union Health Ministry, the number of Coronavirus positive patients has reached 69,79,423 across the country. Out of this, 59,88,822 have recovered and discharged from hospitals while 1,07,416 people have died and one patient has migrated out of the country. There are still 8,83,185 active patients undergoing treatment in hospitals across the country.
