Pune City: 703 Fresh COVID Cases Today, 1117 Discharged
Pune, October 10, 2020: In the last 24 hours, a total of 1117 people were discharged from hospitals after recovery from Coronavirus disease (COVID19) in Pune city today. Also, 703 new patients were detected while 22 people died today. Today swab samples of 4231 were collected for COVID tests.
According to Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC), the total number of Coronavirus positive patients till date has reached 153,600 out of which 136,492 have been cured while 3808 have died. There are still 13,300 active patients undergoing treatment in various hospitals. They include 772 critical patients out of which 437 are on ventilator support.
According to the Union Health Ministry, the number of Coronavirus positive patients has reached 69,79,423 across the country. Out of this, 59,88,822 have recovered and discharged from hospitals while 1,07,416 people have died and one patient has migrated out of the country. There are still 8,83,185 active patients undergoing treatment in hospitals across the country.
