PCMC: 624 New Covid Positive Cases, 14 Deaths Today
Pimpri, 2 October, 2020: The Pimpri-Chinchwad Municipal Corporation (PCMC) said that 624 new Coronavirus Disease (COVID19) patients were reported in PCMC areas today. Also, 1040 people got discharged from hospitals while 14 people died today.
According to PCMC, the total number of Coronavirus positive patients has reached 79,338 out of which 72,164 have recovered while 1337 have died. 3784 active patients are still undergoing treatment. There are 588 non-PCMC residents currently admitted in PCMC hospitals, while 500 have died and 5101 have been cured.
According to the Union Health Ministry, the number of Coronavirus positive patients has reached 63,94,068 across the country. Out of this, 53,52,078 have been cured and discharged from hospitals while 99,773 people have died and one patient has migrated out of the country. There are still 942,217 active patients undergoing treatment in hospitals across the country.
