PCMC: 677 new COVID cases, 21 deaths in Pimpri Chinchwad today

Pimpri, July 23, 2020: The Pimpri-Chinchwad Municipal Corporation (PCMC) said that 677 new Coronavirus Disease (COVID19) patients were reported in PCMC areas today. Also, 398 people got discharged from hospitals while 21 people died today. The report is for the period between 7 pm July 22 to 8 pm July 23 (today).

 

According to PCMC, the total number of Coronavirus positive patients has reached 13784 out of which 9049  have been cured while 255 have died. 3447 active patients are still undergoing treatment. There are 296 non-PCMC residents currently admitted in PCMC. Till now 67 non-PCMC residents have died while 646 have been cured.

 

The current count of COVID19 patients in the state of Maharashtra is 347,502. Today, 9895 patients have been tested as positive while 298 died. Also newly 6484 patients have been cured today. Till now 194,253 people have been cured while 12854 have died. There are still 140,092 active patients in the state.

 

According to the Union Health Ministry, the number of Coronavirus positive patients has reached 1,238,635 across the country. Out of this, 782,606 have been cured and discharged from hospitals while 29,861 people have died and one patient has migrated out of the country. There are still 426,167 active patients undergoing treatment in hospitals across the country.
