PCMC: 749 New COVID Cases, 08 Deaths Reported Today

Pimpri, 20 September 2020: The Pimpri-Chinchwad Municipal Corporation (PCMC) said that 749 new Coronavirus Disease (COVID19) patients were reported in PCMC areas today. Also, 1151 people got discharged from hospitals while 08 people died today.

According to PCMC, the total number of Coronavirus positive patients has reached 70,172 out of which 59,968 have recovered while 1142 have died. 5375 active patients are still undergoing treatment. There are 1149 non-PCMC residents currently admitted in PCMC hospitals, while 365 have died and 3869 have been cured.

According to the Union Health Ministry, the number of Coronavirus positive patients has reached 5,400,619 across the country. Out of this, 4,303,043 have been cured and discharged from hospitals while 86,752 people have died and one patient has migrated out of the country. There are still 10,108,24 active patients undergoing treatment in hospitals across the country.
