Pune City: 1700 New COVID Cases, 38 Deaths Today
Pune, September 20, 2020: In the last 24 hours, a total of 1545 people were discharged from hospitals after recovery from Coronavirus disease (COVID19) in Pune city today. Also, 1700 new patients were detected while 38 people died today. Today swab samples of 6067 people were collected for COVID tests.
According to Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC), the total number of Coronavirus positive patients till date has reached 131,781 out of which 110,916 have been cured while 3084 have died. There are still 17,781 active patients undergoing treatment in various hospitals. They include 961 critical patients out of which 494 are on ventilator support.
According to the Union Health Ministry, the number of Coronavirus positive patients has reached 5,400,619 across the country. Out of this, 4,303,043 have been cured and discharged from hospitals while 86,752 people have died and one patient has migrated out of the country. There are still 10,108,24 active patients undergoing treatment in hospitals across the country.
