PCMC: 750 new COVID cases, 792 discharged today

Pimpri, 23 August 2020: The Pimpri-Chinchwad Municipal Corporation (PCMC) said that 750 new Coronavirus Disease (COVID19) patients were reported in PCMC areas today. Also, 792 people got discharged from hospitals while 6 people died today.

According to PCMC, the total number of Coronavirus positive patients has reached 41,648 out of which 27,957 have recovered while 777 have died. 6629 active patients are still undergoing treatment. There are 601 non-PCMC residents currently admitted in PCMC hospitals, while 157 have died and 1604 have been cured.

According to the Union Health Ministry, the number of Coronavirus positive patients has reached 3,044,940 across the country. Out of this, 2,280,566 have been cured and discharged from hospitals while 56,706 people have died and one patient has migrated out of the country. There are still 707,668 active patients undergoing treatment in hospitals across the country.
