PCMC: 783 new COVID cases, 590 discharged in Pimpri Chinchwad

Pimpri, 11 August 2020: The Pimpri-Chinchwad Municipal Corporation (PCMC) said that 783 new Coronavirus Disease (COVID19) patients were reported in PCMC areas today. Also, 590 people got discharged from hospitals while 14 people died today.

 

According to PCMC, the total number of Coronavirus positive patients has reached 30,619 out of which 21,798 have recovered while 510 have died. 5313 active patients are still undergoing treatment. There are 437 non-PCMC residents currently admitted in PCMC hospitals, while 117 have died and 1245 have been cured.

 

Across Maharashtra, 10,014 people got discharged from hospitals while 11,088 new cases and 256 deaths were reported today. The total number of COVID cases has reached 5,35,601 out of which 3,68,435 people have recovered and 18,306 have died. There are 1,48,553 active cases.
According to the Union Health Ministry, the number of Coronavirus positive patients has reached 2,268,675 across the country. Out of this, 1,583,489 have been cured and discharged from hospitals while 45,257 people have died and one patient has migrated out of the country. There are still 639,929 active patients undergoing treatment in hospitals across the country.
