PCMC: 886 fresh COVID cases in Pimpri Chinchwad, 167 discharged today

Pimpri, 30 July 2020: The Pimpri-Chinchwad Municipal Corporation (PCMC) said that 886 new Coronavirus Disease (COVID19) patients were reported in PCMC areas today. Also, 167 people got discharged from hospitals while 16 people died today.

According to PCMC, the total number of Coronavirus positive patients has reached 20,317 out of which 12,445 have been cured while 327 have died. 3303 active patients are still undergoing treatment.

Across Maharashtra, 11,147 fresh COVID19 cases were reported today while 8860 people got discharged from hospitals today. Also, 266 deaths have been reported in the state today. The total number of positive cases is now 4,11,798 including 2,48,615 discharged and 14,729 deaths. There are 1,48,150 active cases. The recovery rate in Maharashtra is 60.37 % now.

According to the Union Health Ministry, the number of Coronavirus positive patients has reached 1,583,792 across the country. Out of this, 1,020,582 have been cured and discharged from hospitals while 34,968 people have died and one patient has migrated out of the country. There are still 528,242 active patients undergoing treatment in hospitals across the country.
