PCMC: 977  New COVID Cases, 5581 discharged today

Pimpri, 03 September 2020: The Pimpri-Chinchwad Municipal Corporation (PCMC) said that 977 new Coronavirus Disease (COVID19) patients were reported in PCMC areas today. Also, 5581 people got discharged from hospitals while 12 people died today.

According to PCMC, the total number of Coronavirus positive patients has reached 52,284 out of which 43,777 have recovered while 891 have died. 5725 active patients are still undergoing treatment. There are 1031 non-PCMC residents currently admitted in PCMC hospitals, while 202 have died and 2073 have been cured.

According to the Union Health Ministry, the number of Coronavirus positive patients has reached 3,853,406 across the country. Out of this, 2,970,492 have been cured and discharged from hospitals while 67,376 people have died and one patient has migrated out of the country. There are still 815,538 active patients undergoing treatment in hospitals across the country.
