Pune City: 1764 New COVID Cases, Tally Crosses One Lakh Mark
Pune, September 03, 2020: In the last 24 hours, a total of 1188 people were discharged from hospitals after recovery from Coronavirus disease (COVID19) in Pune city today. Also, 1764 new patients were detected while 26 people died today. Today swab samples of 6734 people were collected for COVID tests.
According to Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC), the total number of Coronavirus positive patients till date has reached 1,00,459 out of which 82,085 have been cured while 2401 have died. There are still 15,973 active patients undergoing treatment in various hospitals. They include 885 critical patients out of which 530 are on ventilator support.
According to the Union Health Ministry, the number of Coronavirus positive patients has reached 3,853,406 across the country. Out of this, 2,970,492 have been cured and discharged from hospitals while 67,376 people have died and one patient has migrated out of the country. There are still 815,538 active patients undergoing treatment in hospitals across the country.
