PCMC assistant health inspector caught taking bribe

Pimpri – Officials from the Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) have arrested an assistant health inspector of Pimpri Chinchwad Municipal Corporation (PCMC) for allegedly accepting bribe of Rs 10,000 on Saturday.

Accused Tanaji Honaji Date worked at PCMC E ward office in Bhosari. He was demanding the bribe to mark attendance of an employee who had resumed work after sick leave. Even though the employee had started work, his attendance was not being marked.

ACB arrested Date while accepting the bribe money on Saturday.
