PCMC: First And Second Doses Of Covishield For Above 45 Years Available At 8 Centres On May 16

Pimpri, 15th May 2021: A total of 1429 beneficiaries have been vaccinated at Pimpri Chinchwad Municipal Corporation’s (PCMC) vaccination centres today.

As per the written guideline given by the government, the beneficiaries in the age group of 18 to 44 years will not be vaccinated on 16/05/2021 at the vaccination centres of PCMC.

Citizens who have taken the first dose of the Covishield vaccine in the past as per the guidelines of the Central Government will be given the second dose of Covishield vaccine between 12 and 16 weeks after the first dose (after 84 days to 112 days).

Accordingly, on 16/05/2021, the first and second doses of Covishield will be given to the beneficiaries above the age of 45 years only at the following vaccination centres from 10 am to 5 pm.  Each vaccination centre has 100 slots for first and second doses each for the above 45 years group.

However, the beneficiaries in the age group of 18 to 44 years should not rush to the vaccination centres as currently they are not being given the vaccines.
