The rain, although relentless, failed to dampen the spirits of devotees gathered at Pimpri’s Jhulelal Ghat and Chinchwad Ghat. In Pimpri, residents from neighborhoods such as Pimpri Gaon, Pimpri Camp, Kharalwadi, Sant Tukaram Nagar, Mahesh Nagar, Nehru Nagar, Masulkar Colony, Morwadi, and Mandai braved the weather to participate in the grand send-off.

Notably, every procession in Pimpri-Chinchwad was placed under video surveillance to maintain order and safety. The city’s crime branch had five teams on standby in civilian attire, prepared to address any potential criminal incidents.
