PCMC: New Twist To Girl’s Kidnapping From Office As She Files Affidavit In Court

Chinchwad, January 22, 2021: A recently registered kidnapping case at Chinchwad police station, got a new twist as the girl who was allegedly kidnapped, has submitted an affidavit to the court which says that she went out with the boy on her own will.

The case was registered on 19th January by the father of the girl. As per the FIR, the 23-year-old boy went to the girl’s office and threatened her with a pistol and then kidnapped her. Police arrested the boy after the case was registered and presented him to the court.

But the girl recently submitted an affidavit to the court in which she stated, “I was not kidnapped and went with the boy on own will. I was in a relationship with the boy, but the family members opposed the relationship and that’s why I went with him.”

This affidavit of the girl has given a new turn to the kidnapping case. Police are further investigating the case.
