PCMC: Obscene Messages And Death Threats Sent To Minor Girl

Pimpri, December 13, 2020: The city police are investigating a Bhosari MIDC resident’s complaint that an unidentified person sent obscene messages on the Zoom app and is inciting his minor daughter to commit suicide.
According to police, this minor girl is a student of Class 8, and over the past few months, she has been receiving obscene messages from an unidentified person and is being instigated to commit suicide.
After the same obscene messages were sent to the headmaster of the school where the victim studies and his father, the girl’s mother has finally lodged a complaint with the Bhosari MIDC police station against an unidentified person.
Not only obscene messages but death threats stating, “If you don’t come with my accomplice, we will kill you, or you should commit suicide”, such messages are being displayed on the zoom app which the victim usually uses for online studying.
Suspecting it to be an inside job, the school administration has called a meeting of all parents and children and asked them to come forward immediately in case of any information.
