PCMC: Pimple Gurav Gears Up for Four-Month Road Concreting Project
Pimple Gurav, 15th December 2023: In a move aimed at enhancing the infrastructure and road quality for the citizens of Pimpri-Chinchwad Municipal Corporation (PCMC), the concreting of internal roads in Pimple Gurav and surrounding housing societies has been set in motion. The ambitious project, inaugurated by BJP Pimpri Chinchwad City President Shankar Jagtap, is expected to conclude within the next four months.
The inauguration ceremony saw the Bhumi Pujan conducted by Jagtap, marking the initiation of concreting work in Bhimashankar Colony, Ganesh Nagar, and Vijayraj Colony under the ‘D’ Regional Office of PCMC. The event was attended by numerous senior officers, officials, and enthusiastic citizens.
Jagtap emphasized the significance of positive administrative action to provide the citizens with quality roads and improved infrastructure. He expressed confidence that the PCMC administration, renowned for its proactive initiatives, would ensure the timely completion of the concreting project in Pimple Gurav and adjacent areas.
Speaking at the inauguration, Jagtap stated, “The PCMC administration has consistently demonstrated a positive approach in constructing high-quality roads and infrastructure in the city. We are now anticipating a time-bound program for the development of roads in newly incorporated areas. Our commitment is to meet the expectations of the local citizens while advancing the overall infrastructure.”
Highlighting the ongoing efforts for the betterment of Pimpri-Chinchwad city, which aspires to become a ‘Smart City,’ Jagtap mentioned the widening of main roads and reiterated the need to equip internal roads across all wards. He emphasized the importance of undertaking road projects in every ward and conveyed that the BJP is actively coordinating with the PCMC administration to prioritize these initiatives.
Jagtap concluded by assuring that instructions have been issued to the administration to expedite these road development projects, emphasizing their completion before the onset of the monsoon.
