PCMC takes action against unauthorized stalls & sheds in Gavlimatha area

Pimpri, June 25, 2021: On behalf of the Pimpri-Chinchwad Municipal Corporation (PCMC), the encroachment squad of the C Regional Office on Friday took action to remove 14 unauthorized stalls and sheds on Anukul Chowk Road at Gavlimatha in Ward No. 8.

PCMC Commissioner Rajesh Patil had given instructions to remove encroachments on city roads during a meeting with all field officers and encroachment squads.

Accordingly, under the leadership of Assistant Commissioner of Regional Office Anna Bodde, Administration Officer Nana More and Bhosari Police Station Inspector Pradip Patil, Inspector of Police Jadhav, Assistant Police Inspector Ghighe, and Assistant Police Inspector Ratnaparkhi, the team took action against the unauthorized sheds and stalls and removed the encroachment.

Encroachment Inspector Balasaheb Karle, Encroachment Inspector LM Kale and Beat Inspector SD Shirsat along with 10 encroachment labourers, 20 police personnel, and 15 home guards removed the illegal sheds and stalls with the help of two excavators (JCBs) and other machinery.
