PCMC: Water supply will be disrupted tomorrow in these areas of Pimpri Chinchwad
Pimpri, June 10, 2020: The water supply department of Pimpri Chinchwad Municipal Corporation (PCMC) has informed that there will be no water supply in many areas on Thursday, June 11, due to repair work at Ravet water pumping station.
According to PCMC, water is leaking from the high-pressure line phase 2 and repair work will be undertaken from 11 am on Thursday. High-pressure pumping will be stopped. Therefore, water supply will be disrupted in Chinchwad, Bijlinagar, Pimpri, Pimpri Gaon, Juni Sangvi, Navi Sangvi, Pimple Gurav, Pimple Saudagar, Dapodi etc. The evening water supply will be late and low pressured.
“We will be trying to complete the repair work as soon as possible The department will continue its efforts to improve water supply. Citizens are requested to cooperate with the PCMC and use available water judiciously”, PCMC stated in a press release.
