Pimpri: About 100 Persons Vandalize Vehicles, Police Investigation On

Pimpri Chinchwad, October 31, 2020: Pimpri Chinchwad city has been witnessing many mass vandalism quite a few times now. Most of these events include minors and youngsters who spread terrors across the streets with the motto of establishing supremacy.

In yet another frightful case, a mob of 100 unidentified persons vandalized ten vehicles with machetes, swords, and cement blocks on the streets of Nehru Nagar in Pimpri.

On Friday night, a petty dispute between two gangs resulted in mob vandalism of vehicles. This happened when groups of 100 people from the second group went to kill the other group. As many as 21 vehicles had been seen late at night.

The complainant Nilesh Jadhav has lodged a complaint with Pimpri police, and a case has been registered against unidentified persons.

Some of the identified accused are Jitesh Manjule, Ashish Jagdhane, Irfan Sheikh, and Akash Hazare. According to the complaint, 100 people were involved in the incident, and police are investigating.

A case has been registered against them in this regard, but there is an atmosphere of fear in Nehru Nagar. “We will take strict action against the accused,” said a police official.
