Pune: PMC Extends Lockdown Till November 30, Most Activities Already Allowed

Pune, October 31, 2020: Following the orders from the Maharashtra State government, Pune Municipal Corporation(PMC) has decided to extend the lockdown till November 30.

In the latest order issued by PMC, no new activities have been allowed. The activities that are already allowed shall remain permitted and all earlier orders shall remain aligned with the new order in force upto the end of November.

All necessary goods and services shops are allowed to remain open and operate accordingly. Earlier this month, PMC allowed gyms, parks, and libraries to restart operations adhering to strict social distancing guidelines.

“Orders/instructions issued from time to time by the Central Government and the State Government for declaring containment zones and the measures to be taken there will remain in force. – It will be mandatory to follow all the instructions in the order issued by the Pune Municipal Corporation from time to time regarding the restricted area”, stated the latest PMC order.

The orders issued earlier by Pune Municipal Corporation will be applicable till further orders. Any person violating the directives and guidelines issued by this office from time to time for the prohibition of COVID-19 shall be liable to prosecution.
