Pimpri Chinchwad: 7 fresh COVID cases in PCMC, total tally reaches 233

Pimpri, May 19, 2020: Till 7.50 pm today, seven Coronavirus positive patients were reported in Pimpri Chinchwad Municipal Corporation (PCMC) area, taking the total tally to 233. Also, two patients were discharged from the hospital, while two patients died.

According to PCMC, the new patients are from Anandnagar, Rupinagar and Bhosari. The number of patients in Anandnagar near Chinchwad station has reached 33. Meanwhile, two patients died today. They were from Bhosari. They included a 78-year-old man and a 40-year-old woman.

Now these areas have been sealed now Kshitij Destination, Global School, Durvankur Lawns, Banacha Odha in Bhosari and Vadmukhwadi Alankapuram Road, Shrisamarth Garage, Shivraj Greentech, Neel Motors in Charholi have been sealed.

PCMC officials said that of 233 total patients, 133 have been cured while six have died. There are still 94 active patients who are undergoing treatment in different hospitals. Also, out of 40 patients from outside PCMC who were found positive, 8 have died while 10 have been cured. There are still 22 of them undergoing treatment in PCMC. 10 of them were detected COVID positive today.
