Pimpri Chinchwad BJP President Shankar Jagtap Calls for Unified Effort Towards a Powerful and Strong India

Pimpri, 26th January 2024: Addressing a gathering during the Republic Day celebrations at the party office premises in Pimpri, BJP city president Shankar Jagtap emphasized the need for every citizen to contribute to making India a superpower by 2047, aligning with Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision.

The Republic Day event witnessed the presence of notable figures, including MLC Umatai Khapare, Chinchwad Assembly MLA Ashwini Jagtap, and various party officials from different fronts and cells. The flag unfurling program aimed to instill a sense of patriotism and unity among the citizens of Pimpri-Chinchwad.

Expressing his wishes for the 75th Republic Day, Jagtap emphasized the importance of preserving the hard-earned freedom that India has cherished for centuries. He acknowledged the remarkable progress the country has made across economic, social, and industrial sectors over the last 75 years.

Jagtap highlighted India’s economic growth, averaging 7-8% in recent years under the Modi government. He praised advancements in the industrial sector, particularly in automobile, textile, IT, and pharmaceuticals. The agricultural sector has seen notable improvements as well.

Lauding the increase in literacy rates and advancements in health, Jagtap noted the extended life expectancy of the citizens. He pointed out India’s extensive road and rail network, asserting that the country’s global position has strengthened across various domains.

In his address, Jagtap urged citizens to take pride in India’s progress, declaring it the fourth-largest economy globally. He called for collective efforts to further accelerate this progress, aiming for a prosperous and happy future for all.

“We should all be proud of India’s progress. We should all work together to accelerate this progress and create a prosperous and happy future for all of us,” said Shankar Jagtap, city president – BJP Pimpri Chinchwad City (District).

The Republic Day celebration concluded with a renewed sense of commitment among attendees to contribute towards India’s journey to becoming a powerful and strong nation by 2047.
