Pimpri, 21st February 2024: A major fire erupted behind near Morwadi Court today around noon. The incident is reported to have originated in a tyre godown.
The Pimpri Chinchwad Fire Brigade has promptly responded to the scene.
The fire has resulted in heavy smoke, and billows of it are rising into the sky. Consequently, the health of residents in the Empire Estate, Auto Cluster, and Samorwadi areas is at risk due to the pervasive smoke.

The density of the smoke is so pronounced that it is visible even from a distance of 6 to 7 kilometres.
Authorities are currently investigating the incident, and further reports are anticipated once the examination is complete.
