Pimpri Chinchwad: New Water Connection Provides Relief to 375 Flat Owners in Moshi’s Nakshatra Island Society
Moshi, 27th February 2023: Nakshatra Island Society, located in Moshi, recently faced a water scarcity issue. The residents, along with the Chikhali-Moshi-Pimpri-Chinchwad Housing Society Federation, raised their concerns with MLA Mahesh Landge.
In response, Landge suggested implementing a new water connection to solve the problem. The administrative level approved the decision, and a new tap from New Alandi Road was installed, providing an additional 70,000 liters of water to the society. The work on the water channel has been completed, and the installation of new taps has started, providing relief to approximately 375 flat owners.
Social activist Sagar Hingane said that the residents expressed their satisfaction with the solution. Mahesh Landge, who is also the Pimpri Chinchwad BJP president, stated that the government is committed to providing efficient infrastructure facilities to society holders. In response to the water shortage issue, he assured that the government has taken steps to resolve the complaint immediately after the society residents raised it.
Moreover, the government is currently testing water from Andra Dam, and if the results are positive, the project’s regular water supply will start, providing relief to the affected villages. In the wake of the summer season, some areas are facing water shortages. Still, the government has always taken the initiative to resolve the issue and provide necessary resources efficiently.
