Pimpri Chinchwad Police Seize Gutkha Worth Rs 16.75 Lakh In Moshi

Moshi, November 25, 2020: Police raided and seized a stock of gutkha worth Rs 16.75 lakh illegally stored in a warehouse in Moshi. MIDC Bhosari police conducted the operation on Monday (November 23) at Borhadewadi, Moshi. The cops have also seized a tempo worth Rs two lakh.

The accused have been identified as Kartik Subhash Dalvi (22), a native of Buldhana, who lived in Borade vasti in Moshi, Kiran Kothari of Chikhli and Gopal Patil from Bhosari. The accused Dalvi has been arrested by the police.

According to Senior Police Inspector Shivaji Gaware, while patrolling, policeman Swapnil Landge got a tip-off on the illegally stored gutkha in a warehouse at Borhadevasti, Moshi. Accordingly, the police raided and arrested the accused Dalvi. His two accomplices Kothari and Patil have absconded. MIDC Bhosari police are investigating further.
