Pimpri Chinchwad records highest 21 fresh COVID cases in single day
Pimpri, May 22, 2020: Till 8.45 pm today, 21 Coronavirus positive patients were reported in Pimpri Chinchwad Municipal Corporation (PCMC) area, taking the total tally to 274. Also, eight patients were discharged from the hospital.
According to PCMC, the new patients include 13 from Anandnagar, 1 from Chikhali, 2 from Bhosari, 1 from Rahatani, 1 from Kalewadi, 1 from Dapodi, 2 from Bhatnagar. The number of patients in Anandnagar near Chinchwad station has reached 43. The eight discharged patients are from Charholi, Juni Sangvi, Yamunanagar Nigdi.
PCMC officials said that out of 274 total patients, 161 have been cured while seven have died. There are still 106 active patients who are undergoing treatment in different hospitals including YCM hospital and Bhosari hospital. Also, out of 47 patients from outside PCMC who were found positive, 9 have died while 15 have been cured. There are still 23 of them undergoing treatment in PCMC including four who were found positive today.

Dapodi: Bombay Colony, Jama Masjid, Krishnai Dairy, Mahadev Temple, Vitthal-Tarun Mandal Dapodi Gaothan.
Chikhali: Destination Memoir Society boundary, Fino Corner.
Rahatani: Shivrajnagar, Ganpati Mandir, Royal Orange County Society, Akashganga Feju 2, Kunal Medical, Bhagyashree Stationery, Shriram Super Market, Welcome Kiran Stores.
Bhosari: Dhavadevasti, Govinda Super Market, Krishna Krishna Car Decor, Varsha Selection, Rizwan Chicken Center, Dnyaneshwari Tailors, Shubham Mobile Shop, Bhairavnath School.
