Pimpri Chinchwad: ‘Technical Issue’ or Extra Show? Devul Band 2 Viewers Slam INOX Over Delay
Akurdi, 22nd May 2026: Moviegoers alleged serious mismanagement by INOX administration during a screening of the Marathi film Deool Band 2, claiming that the show started nearly two hours late, causing major inconvenience to the audience.
According to viewers present at the theatre, the management initially cited a “technical issue” as the reason for the delay. However, several audience members alleged that another show was already running inside the auditorium during the scheduled screening time of ‘Deool Band 2’.
Patrons accused the multiplex administration of prioritising additional bookings and revenue generation over customer convenience. They claimed that despite purchasing tickets in advance, they were forced to wait for hours without proper communication or transparency from the theatre staff.
Viewers also expressed anger over what they described as “false excuses” and poor management, stating that such incidents damage the movie-going experience and erode trust among cinema audiences.
Several attendees have appealed to people to share videos of the incident on social media to highlight the issue and increase pressure on the theatre administration to take responsibility and prevent similar incidents in the future.
No official statement had been issued by the multiplex management till the time of publication.
