Pimpri-Chinchwad To Face Water Cut On Thursday, April 8

Pimpri-Chinchwad, April 6, 2021: Maintenance and repair work will be carried out at the Maharashtra Industrial Development Corporation’s (MIDC) water treatment plant in Ravet on Thursday (April 8).

Therefore, the water supply in many areas receiving water from the MIDC plant will be halted from 8 am to 8 pm on Thursday, informed MIDC Deputy Engineer Kalpesh Lahiwal.

The maintenance and repair work at MIDC’s water treatment plant in Ravet will continue from 8 am to 8 pm on Thursday.

Pimpri, Chinchwad, Bhosari, Dehu Road, Kasarwadi, Phugewadi, Nigdi, CME, R&D, Dighi, VSNL, Dehu Road Cantonment Board, and OFDR areas will face water cut throughout the day on Thursday.

On Friday (April 9), the water supply to these places is likely to be low-pressured and insufficient. Therefore, citizens should store the water. The MIDC has appealed to citizens to use water sparingly.
