Pimpri-Chinchwad, 7th April 2021: The Pimpri Chinchwad Municipal Corporation (PCMC) has started various helplines for COVID-19 patients, patients in home isolation, and the general public. A ‘Swastha helpline’ has been set up for COVID-19 patients in home isolation and a ‘Telemedicine helpline’ has been set up to provide information about COVID-19.

Municipal Commissioner Rajesh Patil informed regarding the helplines. The commissioner said the COVID-19 cases are rising in the city. Therefore, it is necessary to create awareness about it among the citizens. The municipal corporation has launched three helplines to provide information to the citizens. These helplines will be available 24×7 to the citizens to inform them COVID-19, and about precautions, care, and health information for patients in home isolation.

The ‘Swastha helpline’ has been set up for counseling patients in home isolation. A team of 10 doctors has been appointed for this. The team will guide and counsel COVID-19 patients about the difficulties they are facing.
