Pimpri Chinchwad: Two-Wheeler Rider Dies In Accident Caused By Phone Call Distraction
Bhosari, 6th April 2023: A man from Pimpri Chinchwad passed away in a fatal accident while attempting to answer a phone call while driving. The incident occurred on Wednesday in the Bhosari area, close to the Dhawadevasti locality. The victim, Kiran Namdev Panchal, was returning home on his two-wheeler from work when the tragedy happened.
As per the police investigation, Kiran and his cousin, Dattatray, were heading home after completing their work duties. While nearing the Dhawadevasti area, Kiran received a phone call. While trying to attend to the call while driving, he lost control of the vehicle, leading to him falling off the bike. Kiran suffered head injuries in the accident and was immediately taken to the hospital in an unconscious state.
Despite the best efforts of the doctors, Kiran could not be saved and succumbed to his injuries during treatment.
