Pimpri: NCP Attacks BJP Over Civic Issues In Pimpri
Pimpri, 28th November 2022: In the wake of the upcoming Pimpri Municipal Elections, the NCP has started sectional meetings and has targeted the BJP on civic issues in the city. NCP has attacked BJP on issues like water supply, red zone, intermittent power supply, problems of small-scale industries, and others.
NCP’s city president Ajit Gavhane has criticized that a water cut has been forced on Pimpri-Chinchwadkar for the last three years, and the BJP is to blame for it. The water cut is unfortunate even though the dam has sufficient water storage and the city receives regular heavy rains. Gavhane alleged that the rights of citizens have been diverted.
The meeting with Industries Minister Uday Samant regarding the problems faced by small entrepreneurs in Pimpri-Chinchwad and Chakan area is a farce, and the faces of small entrepreneurs have been wiped clean. The BJP, which has ignored their problems so far, has seen a wave of small entrepreneurs ahead of the municipal elections. Even with the government of their party at the centre and in the state, they have failed to solve the problems of the city dwellers, Gavhane stated.
