Pistol Sold Through YouTube Video, Pimpri-Chinchwad Police Seize 24 Pistols, 38 Live Cartridges; 12 Persons Arrested

Pimpri, January 28, 2021: Pimpri-Chinchwad police in a major operation in Madhya Pradesh seized 24 pistols and 38 live cartridges and arrested a total of 12 people. Bhosari police station officials said that the main accused was contacting people who wanted the pistol by commenting on the video of the pistol on YouTube.

The main accused in the case are Ronnie Attarsingh Barnala, Sushil Mangilal Pavara, Santosh Suresh Patil, Umesh Arun Rayrikar, Akshay Raju Shelke, Dheeraj Anil Dhagare, Maharaj Sonba Margale, Monty Valmiki, Bablu Maruti, Amit Balasaheb Dagde, Rahul Gulab Walhekar and Sandeep Ananta Bhunde. They have been arrested.

According to the police, Rupesh Suresh Patil, who has cases like attempted to murder, preparation for robbery, burglary and arms Act, was arrested by police personnel Sumit Deokar and Ganesh Sawant along with four pistols and four live cartridges. Meanwhile, a thorough investigation of the case revealed that the case has a connection to Madhya Pradesh.

Accordingly, a team of Bhosari police left for Madhya Pradesh. They laid a trap in a forest in Madhya Pradesh and arrested the main accused pistol dealer Bablusingh Attar Singh Barnala and seized 8 pistols and 20 live cartridges from him and his accomplice Sushil Mangilal Pavara. Two pistols and five live cartridges were also seized from Pavara. Both the accused used to contact the person who wanted the pistol by commenting under the video of the pistol on YouTube. He used to give information about the pistol by giving his own mobile number.

This action has been taken by a team of Senior Police Inspector Shankar Avtade and Siddheshwar Kailase under the guidance of Deputy Commissioner of Police Manchak Ipper.
