426 Experts Appointed For Counselling Of Class 10th, 12th Students; Independent Channel Of Balbharati Launched

Pune, January 28, 2021: On Wednesday, School Education Minister Varsha Gaikwad announced the launch of an independent Balbharati channel. She also suggested making the educational supplementary programs available in the collection of children’s films.

Gaikwad was speaking on the occasion of the 54th anniversary of Balbharati and the golden jubilee year of Kishor magazine. Education Commissioner Vishal Solanki, Balbharati Director Dinkar Patil, Prof Indrajit Bhalerao, Controller Vivek Gosavi, Congress leader Ulhas Pawar were present on the occasion.

On the occasion of the golden jubilee year, the mobile app and logo of ‘Kishor’, the book ‘Pannas Kishor Goshti’, the new website of Balbharati was launched.

The Maharashtra State Institute of Education, Research and Training has also published a book titled ‘Navi Pahat’ based on experiences in the child protection movement and ‘Navya Vata of Education’ which provides information on experimental schools. Students from various schools across the state watched the event through virtual classrooms.

Gaikwad said that Balbharati and Kishor had a huge impact on his life, adding that Balbharati did the work of printing and distribution without any hesitation due to the difficulties created by Coronavirus pandemic. Corona is the challenge, as well as the opportunity. The occasion brought to the fore the option of online education. During the Corona period, there was a need for an educational channel like Balchitravani. Therefore, an independent channel of Balbharati will be created throughout the year. Also, educational materials in children’s films will be made available to the students.

Fifty rupees for a teenager

The annual subscription of Kishor has been increased to Rs 50 as a gift to the children on the occasion of the golden jubilee year. With Rs 50 subscription, Diwali and year-round prints. Annual subscriptions can be paid through the new app and website, said Kiran Kendra, executive editor.

Counselling of 10th and 12th class students

Guidance and counselling have been provided to the students of class X-XII in the state. Students will be counselled by trained teachers of (DEIT).
