Plastic Bottle Crushing Machine installed at Pune railway station

Pune – In order to propagate environment awareness and proper disposal of plastic bottles, the Pune division of Central Railways has installed a plastic bottle crushing machine at the Pune railway station.
The passengers can crush their plastic bottles in the machine located near the first class waiting room on platform number 1. The crush machine was inaugurated by Pune MP Anil Shirole and Pune’s Mayor Mukta Tilak.
On this occasion Divisional Railway Manager Milind Daskar, Additional Divisional Railway Manager Praful Chandra, Senior Divisional Commerce Manager, Krishnath Patil and other officers and passengers were present.
The railway administration has requested the people to put their plastic bottle in the trash bin or crush it in the machine and keep the railway station clean.
