Plot To Defame Maharashtra, My Silence is Not Helplessness: CM Uddhav Thackeray

Mumbai, September 13, 2020: There is a plan to defame Maharashtra. Just because I’m not talking doesn’t mean I am sitting quietly. I am the Chief Minister and I have to keep in mind this position. However, I am going to take off the mask of the Chief Minister’s post and talk about this politics as well, said Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray, adding, “Recently I have faced many troubles and will continue to face political cyclone even further, but do not consider my silence as my helplessness.”

“Some people feel that the Corona crisis is over and hence have started politics again. A plot is being hatched to discredit Maharashtra. I will talk about it but not now. When the time comes, I will take off the mask of the Chief Minister’s post and talk about politics but my focus will be on Corona today”, said the Chief Minister.

After many days, Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray today interacted with the people of the state through social media.

Farmers’ Loans Waived Off 

CM Thackeray, regarding the farmers’ loans, said that loans up to Rs two lakh of 29.5 lakh farmers have been waived off. Also, this year record cotton procurement has been done.

Don’t Agitate For Maratha Reservation

CM Thackeray appealed to the people that- “We have strongly taken up the Maratha reservation issue and appointed best lawyers in the Supreme Court. Therefore, there is no need to organise agitation too when there is COVID pandemic. If the government is not doing anything then only you should agitate”.

Have visited villages through video conferencing 

“Many people allege that I am working from home but I am contacting each village of Maharashtra through video conferencing because we need to talk to those people. I am doing that through video conferencing and the work is happening. There is no point in making accusations”, CM pointed out.
