Mumbai, September 13, 2020: Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray today announced the launch of “My Family, My Responsibility” to beat Coronavirus pandemic. He also appealed that – “From September 15, all people who love Maharashtra should wear a mask whenever they step out of the home. Keep washing hands frequently. Do not go out of the home if not necessary”.

“Checking the health of 12 crore people is a difficult task. But still, a state government team will inspect each house twice. Collector, MLA, MP, corporator, activists should take responsibility of this inspection. The team will go to every house to check the oxygen level of people above 50 years. The health team will start treatment if anybody is found ill”, the Chief Minister said.

As industries have started they also need oxygen which is in demand for treatment of Coranvirus disease (COVID19) patients. Therefore, a decision has been taken to supply 80% oxygen for patients and remaining for industries. It was decided as a shortage of oxygen was reported in COVID hospitals, he added.

The number of COVID positive patients has crossed 10 lakh mark in Maharashtra. “Follow all the rules to prevent spread of Coronavirus. Don’t let the time to lockdown come again”, he said.
