PM Modi, Sharad Pawar And Uddhav Thackeray To Address Election Rallies In Pune On Same Day

Pune, 23rd April 2024: Prime Minister Narendra Modi, NCP president Sharad Pawar, and Shiv Sena Chief Uddhav Thackeray are scheduled to hold meetings in Pune on Monday, April 29th, marking a significant moment as these influential leaders converge in the city on the same day. With all eyes on this unprecedented gathering, Pune residents are eagerly anticipating the outcome of these high-stakes encounters.

The timing of these meetings is strategically aligned with the Lok Sabha elections, with the third phase scheduled for May 7th and the fourth phase on May 13th, encompassing constituencies including Baramati, Pune, Shirur, and Maval. Sharad Pawar and Uddhav Thackeray will address a public meeting in Warje at 5 pm to bolster the campaign for Supriya Sule, the Mahavikas Aghadi candidate for the Baramati Lok Sabha constituency.

Subsequently, Prime Minister Modi will rally support for Mahayuti candidates with a visit to Tilak Road at 7 pm, where a meeting will be held at the SP college ground. Modi, Pawar, and Thackeray will address the electorate from these two pivotal locations on the same day.

Prashant Jagtap, the city president of the NCP Sharad Chandra Pawar party, revealed, “The rally of Pawar and Thackeray has been scheduled for April 29th in Pune to bolster Sule’s campaign. Extensive preparations are underway for the event, slated for 5 pm, as both parties gear up for a spirited campaign.”

Prior to these meetings, Prime Minister Modi will lead a roadshow in Pune, with party workers diligently preparing for the occasion. Following his engagement in Latur, Modi will arrive in Pune, where the roadshow will traverse from Rani Jhansi Chowk on Jungli Maharaj Road to Deccan Corner, Tilak Chowk, Tilak Road, and SP College. While plans for the roadshow involve an open jeep procession, BJP sources have yet to confirm this detail.
