PMC opens Pune in lockdown 5, issues revised guidelines
Pune, June 2, 2020: Pune Municipal Commissioner Shekhar Gaikwad today issued revised guidelines for lockdown 5 in compliance with Maharashtra government’s ‘Mission Begin Again’. Now there will be 66 micro containment zones where restrictions will continue. 27 zones have been deleted mainly from slum areas while 28 new zones have been added.
According to PMC, essential services will remain open between 9 am to 2 pm containment zones. Shops outside containment zones will be allowed between 9 am to 5 pm on P1 and P2 basis. Gardens and public, as well as private grounds, will be open from tomorrow. People can use them for jogging, cycling etc purpose and they will be open between 5 am to 7 pm evening.
Malls, theatres, spa, saloon, schools, hotels and religious places to remain closed. Newspapers can be sold between 9 am to 5 pm. Pune’s famous Tulsibaugh will open from 5th June on P1 and P2 basis. Private offices have been allowed to operate with 10 % manpower. IT companies can open with 50 % staffs.
