PMPML Introduces Special Tourist Bus Service To Pune’s Religious And Tourist Places At Just Rs 500 Per Passenger!

Pune, 2nd May 2023: The Pune Mahanagar Parivahan Mahamandal Limited (PMPML) has recently announced the launch of a special tourist bus service to religious and tourist places in Pune.
The service, which started on May 1, 2023, will operate on Saturdays, Sundays, and public holidays.
Earlier, the service had not received an encouraging response from the public due to the high ticket prices. In response to the feedback received from the passengers on social media, PMPML has decided to slash the ticket prices to Rs 500 per passenger. The announcement was made by the Chairman and Managing Director of PMPML.
The tourist bus service has been introduced on the occasion of the PMPML’s 16th anniversary. The air-conditioned e-buses will take the passengers to religious and tourist places in and around Pune. There are a total of seven tourist bus services, and the revised ticket prices apply to all the routes.
The routes covered by the tourist bus service are as follows:
Tourist Bus Service No. 1: Hadapsar, Morgaon, Jejuri, Saswad, Hadapsar.
Tourist Bus Service No. 2: Hadapsar, Saswad Sopankaka Temple, Sangameshwar Temple, Narayanpur, Balaji Temple (Ketkavale), Baneshwar Temple, Kondhanpur Temple, Hadapsar.
Tourist Bus Service No. 3: Deccan, Kharawade Mhasoba Devasthan, Temghar Dam, Nilkantheshwar Paytha, Deccan.
Tourist Bus Service No. 4: Pune Station, Khadakwasla Dam, Panshet Dam, Varasgaon Dam, Pune Station.
Tourist Bus Service No. 5: Pune Station, Pulgate, Hadapsar, Ramdara, Theur Ganpati, Prayagdham, Hadapsar, Pune Station.
Tourist Bus Service No. 6: Pune Station, Wagheshwar Mandir (Wagholi), Wadebolhai, Sri Kshetra Tulapur Triveni Sangam, Ch. Sambhaji Maharaj Samadhi Mandir (Vadhu Budruk), Ranjangaon Ganapati, Pune Station.
Tourist Bus Service No. 7: Bhakti Shakti Nigdi, Appughar, ISKCON Temple (Ravet), Morya Gosavi Temple (Chinchwad), Pratishirdi (Shirgaon), Dehugaon, Gatha Mandir, Alandi, Bhakti Shakti Nigdi.
The reduced ticket prices are expected to attract more tourists and promote tourism in the city. PMPML is also offering a discount of 100% on the ticket price of five passengers if a group ticket of 33 passengers is taken.
The tickets can be booked at various PMPML bus stations, including Deccan Gymkhana, Pune Station, Swargate, Katraj, Hadapsar, Bhosari Bus Stand, Nigdi, and Manpa Bhawan.
Passengers who are unable to take the bus service due to unforeseen circumstances or due to the service not receiving a sufficient response will be allowed to travel on other days, i.e., the following Saturday, Sunday, or public holiday. A guide will be provided on each bus to assist the passengers.
The PMPML has urged devotees, pilgrims, and tourists to take advantage of this opportunity to explore the religious and tourist places in and around Pune.
