PMPML’s Pune Airport Bus Service Now At Regular Fare, Check Details Below!

Pune, 14th December 2022: ABHI (Airport Bus for Business and Hotel Interconnectivity) service is provided by Pune (Lohegaon) Airport on six different routes through Smart AC e-bus through Pune Mahanagar Parivahan Mahamandal Limited (PMPML).
As the routes of the ABHI service are designed with the view of business and hotel interconnectivity, special ticket fares were charged for this bus service. However, the response of passengers to airport buses is low, and it is affecting the income of the PMPML.
In terms of increasing the number of passengers and income of ABHI Airport bus service, the Chairman and Managing Director of PMPML Om Prakash Bakoria revised the current ticket price. From Friday (16th December), ticket fare has been ordered on six routes of ABHI Bus Service on a trial basis.
The first bus will run on route no A-1: Hinjewadi Man Phase three to Airport. The bus will cover the stops such as Shivaji Chowk, Pune University Gate, Pune Municipal Corporation Building, and Pune Station. According to the information, there will be only one bus for the above-mentioned route with 16 rounds on a frequency of four hours.
The second bus will run on route no A-2: Bhekrainagar (Hadapsar) to Airport and will cover the bus stops, namely Hadapsar Railway Station, Magarpatta, Kharadi Bypass Chowk, Hyatt Hotel. The number of buses running on the said route is one with 10 rounds on a frequency of two hours.
The third bus will run on route no A-3: Swargate to Airport and the stops such as Pulgate, West End Talkies, Pune Station, Blue Diamond Hotel, and Shastrinagar Chowk will be covered in the journey. The number of buses provided by PMPML for the said route is one with 10 rounds, and the frequency is 2.30 hours.
The fourth bus will run on route no A-4: Kothrud Stand to Airport, and the said bus will cover the bus stops, namely Gudlak Chowk, Lokmangal, Pune Municipal Corporation Building, Pune Station, Blue Diamond Hotel, Golf Club. Only one bus will run from the said route with 10 rounds, and the frequency will be 2.30 hours.
The fifth mentioned route no is A-5: Nigdi to Airport. The said bus will cover bus stations like Chinchwad Station, Nashik Phata, Landewadi Corner, Bhosari, Magazine Chowk, and Vishrantwadi. Again, only one bus will run on the said route with eight rounds on the frequency of three hours.
The last route is A-6: Nigdi to Airport, which will cover the stations like Chinchwad Station, Nashik Phata, Wakdewadi, Pune Station, Shastrinagar Road, and Hyatt Hotel with only one bus. The bus will make eight rounds with a frequency of four hours.
The ABHI Airport bus mentioned above used to stop at specific bus stops earlier. But now these buses are going to stop at all bus stops. The six buses will make 62 rounds overall to make the transport easier. However, the PMPML is appealing to the maximum number of passengers to take advantage of PMPML’s ABHI Airport bus service.
