Pune, 14th December 2022: ABHI (Airport Bus for Business and Hotel Interconnectivity) service is provided by Pune (Lohegaon) Airport on six different routes through Smart AC e-bus through Pune Mahanagar Parivahan Mahamandal Limited (PMPML).
As the routes of the ABHI service are designed with the view of business and hotel interconnectivity, special ticket fares were charged for this bus service. However, the response of passengers to airport buses is low, and it is affecting the income of the PMPML.
In terms of increasing the number of passengers and income of ABHI Airport bus service, the Chairman and Managing Director of PMPML Om Prakash Bakoria revised the current ticket price. From Friday (16th December), ticket fare has been ordered on six routes of ABHI Bus Service on a trial basis.
The first bus will run on route no A-1: Hinjewadi Man Phase three to Airport. The bus will cover the stops such as Shivaji Chowk, Pune University Gate, Pune Municipal Corporation Building, and Pune Station.
