Political connection behind Missing Gautam Pashankar, son Kapil Pashankar alleges
Pune, October 29, 2020: Gautam Pashankar, a well-known Pune-based businessman who has been missing for the past eight days, is believed to have been kidnapped, Gautam’s son Kapil Pashankar has expressed suspicion. He has also alleged that there is a political connection behind this.
In this regard, family members of Pashankar have given an application to Pune City Police Commissioner Amitabh Gupta seeking an investigation into a financial dispute with certain politicians. “Great efforts are being made by Pune Police. I am satisfied with the police investigation. I don’t think there should be any political pressure in this, so I met him”, said Kapil Pashankar.
Alleging about the political connection behind the sudden disappearance of his father, Kapil Pashankar further said, “Some politicians were threatening my father for money. We have received this information from our driver and others who knew him.”
Speaking to Punekarnews.in, Police Inspector Balasaheb Kopanar, in-charge of Shivajinagar Police Station, said, “We are still investigating the issue, we will update after receiving any information in this regard.”
