The reality series, masterfully hosted by the charismatic Salman Khan, was originally scheduled for a six-week run on JioCinema. However, due to the enthusiastic response from its viewers, the show was granted a two-week extension.
During the grand finale, the spotlight fell on actor-director Pooja Bhatt, one of the final five contestants, as she bid farewell to the house. In an exclusive conversation with News18, Pooja revealed her post-show aspirations. She expressed a longing to reunite with her four feline companions, who serve as her serene mentors. Amid the bustling household of Bigg Boss, Pooja craved solitude and intended to revel in her personal space for a while. An upcoming rendezvous with the villagers at her farmhouse was also on her agenda, accompanied by a heartfelt celebration with her devoted staff members who tended to her home during her absence.
The distinctive format of the show entails isolating contestants within a secluded house, devoid of any connection with the external world. Curiously, Pooja Bhatt was spotted with a mobile phone on multiple occasions during the show, a matter that didn’t go unnoticed. Addressing this observation, Pooja fervently denied the presence of a phone within the Bigg Boss abode. With over 200 cameras constantly surveilling the contestants, she emphasized the impossibility of concealing anything. She further reflected on her digital detox within the house, realizing the dispensability of social media in her daily life.
Earlier in the same month, Pooja’s father, acclaimed filmmaker Mahesh Bhatt, entered the show and engaged with all the participants. However, a particular interaction between Mahesh Bhatt and Manisha Rani raised discomfort among internet users. The ensuing viral videos prompted criticism of the veteran director’s conduct.
When asked about these matters, Pooja Bhatt adopted a philosophical stance. She recognized the diversity in perspectives and opined that if people viewed Mahesh Bhatt’s actions as inappropriate, it revealed more about their mindset than his behaviour. She declined to delve into exhaustive explanations, asserting that Manisha Rani had herself expressed a desire to interact with Mahesh Bhatt. Pooja also acknowledged her limited interaction due to the sequence of the meeting.
